2025 Hallasan Ecological School Nature Camp: Splash into Nature at Donneko!

Jeju, South Korea – The highly anticipated 2025 Hallasan Ecological School Nature Camp is now open for participant registration, inviting elementary school students to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Jeju. Organized by the Hallasan Ecological Guides, a natural guide group of the Jeju Participatory Environmental Federation, this 1-night, 2-day camp promises an enriching experience filled with learning and adventure.

This year's camp, themed "Splash! Enjoying Donneko!" (첨벙첨벙! 돈내코 즐기기), will take place at the picturesque Donneko Campground. It offers an excellent opportunity for children to connect with nature, understand local ecosystems, and create lasting memories.

Camp Details:

  • Dates: July 26 (Saturday) - July 27 (Sunday), 2025 (1 night, 2 days)
  • Location: Donneko Campground area, Jeju
  • Target Audience: Elementary school students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades
  • Capacity: Limited to 20 participants (first-come, first-served basis)
  • Participation Fee: 10만원 (100,000 KRW) per person. Children of Jeju Participatory Environmental Federation regular sponsors receive a 2만원 (20,000 KRW) discount, paying 8만원 (80,000 KRW).

Exciting Activities Include:

  • Fun Nature Play: Engage in traditional games like one-step tag, Mugunghwa flower rock-paper-scissors, and creative play using natural twigs.
  • Splash, Donneko!: Enjoy thrilling water play, observe diverse aquatic creatures, build leaf boats, learn about water mills, and construct stone pagodas.
  • Pre-Sleep Activities: Wind down with stargazing, learn to make smudge sticks, and write heartfelt postcards to yourselves and your parents.
  • Fun Forest Rope Play: Participate in exhilarating rope activities such as circle rope play, sun rope play, and swinging on a rotating swing.
