Harvard's Oldest A Cappella Group "Krokodiloes" to Perform at Jeju 4·3 Peace Park

Jeju-si, Jeju-do – The Harvard Krokodiloes, the university's oldest a cappella group, are scheduled to perform at the Jeju 4·3 Peace Park on July 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This special performance aims to bring global attention to the message of peace and reconciliation embodied by the Jeju 4·3 incident.

The Krokodiloes, renowned for their sophisticated harmonies and engaging performances, consist of twelve Harvard undergraduates with a long history of musical excellence. They have performed in over 100 countries and are known for their diverse repertoire, spanning jazz, pop, swing, and traditional tunes. Their performance in Jeju will be a unique opportunity for local and international audiences to experience their talent.

Adding to the significance of the event, violinist Kim Minhee will join the Krokodiloes for a collaborative performance. Additionally, the Pyoseon High School choir will participate, making it a meaningful exchange between international and local musical talents. The program is expected to feature music that resonates with themes of peace and remembrance.

Following the performance, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the Jeju 4·3 incident and the ongoing efforts for healing and reconciliation. The event is free and open to the public, and it is anticipated that many students and community members will attend.
